AOC STEM Student of the Year Scholarship Each year, the AOC Education Foundation awards two students who exhibit academic excellence in engineering or engineering technology, as well as interest and potential contribution to national defense, with $12,500 each. These scholarships are generously funded by Raytheon Intelligence & Space. Submit your application by April 30. Electromagnetic Warfare Capability Gaps and Enabling Technologies 2023 Conference Theme: Force Level Electromagnetic Warfare The overall goal of this signature conference for Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) professionals from the military, government, industry and academic fields is to discuss issues related to achieving Force Level EW and Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) capabilities across the Services. Technical panels and keynote speakers will address EW and EMSO requirements and emerging technologies necessary to support joint warfighting and achieve an enduring advantage in the electromagnetic spectrum. Government and military leaders across the Department of Defense will present the essential role of EW and EMSO in Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2), Joint Long-Range Fires and Information Advantage and exchange with the EW community how innovative technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are needed to advance collaborative and agile solutions to persistent gaps in our joint warfighting capabilities. But it will present a long technology evolution and the NTN will be further enhanced. Those enhancements allow the incorporation of more processing power into the satellites known as regenerative mode or will enable other airborne stations beside satellites and also enhance the interoperability of terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks. Combined with the trend of private networks, there are various options to incorporate NTN ad hoc networks into private networks. This webinar will discuss the technology details of 5G NTN and the technology evolution of “beyond satellite” on the long term path to 6G unified networks.
