EW Against a New Generation of Threats
May 2-25, 2022 | Mondays & Wednesdays | 1-4 p.m. EDT

A new generation of threats has created a significant number of challenges to Electronic Warfare equipment and tactics. We simply cannot continue doing things the way we have been doing them, with significant success, for decades. This is a practical, hands-on course that covers Spectrum Warfare and current EW approaches, and moves on to discuss the new equipment capabilities and tactics that are required to meet the new threat challenges.

Who should attend? The course is intended for technical or marketing professionals who are new to EW or are concerned with the changes in the threat environment that impact development or operational activities. All of the background math is fully explained in the course.

High Power Emitters for Threat Simulation and Radar
Open air range testing simulates complex and reactive threats that cannot be simulated with one-dimensional, indoor test amplifiers. Pulse flexibility, high duty cycles, long pulse widths and rugged design are required.  To address this, Empower RF developed its Next Generation family of high performance SSPAs with embedded high speed computing for precise power control, pulse replication and multi-mode operation. The result is a configurable transmitter for generating real-time threat scenarios.
