Views from the Capitol Club's February Multi-National Forum
On February 9th the Capitol Club Roost hosted a Multi-national Forum at the Australian Embassy. The speaker was LtGen (Ret) Teddy Allen, a former Director of Defense Security Cooperation Agency (when it was Defense Security Assistance Agency). He spoke to a gathering of 44 AOC members and guests from 12 countries on the topic of "International Interactions - Impact of Regulatory Measures on International Business."
Geoff Leighton, the chairman of the MNF for the Capitol Club is shown here presenting LTG Allen with a Capitol Club paperweight as a memento of the occasion.
Due to its proximity to the greatest concentration of embassies in the US, the Capitol Club has taken on the task of reaching out to our allies to further the dialogue on electronic warfare as it relates to mutual defense interests. In 2010, one of the forums was held in the US Capitol and attracted more than 100 representatives from all of the NATO nations.
