Fort Worth Chapter Reorganizes
The Fort Worth "Cowtown Crow" Chapter held a reorganization luncheon on March 8, 2013 at a local restaurant. Thirty-nine were in attendance, from various local aeronautical companies in Tarrant County, TX, in-country vendor support personnel, to former AFEWS engineers now retired. Of those attending, 10 were non-members considering joining.
Benefits of being an AOC member and how the local chapter should support the schools, colleges and universities were presented. Possibilities of organizing local in-house training and hosting national/international training, symposiums and conferences were also discussed. General interest surveys were taken and those wishing to serve as a chapter officer or Board of Director were identified.
